Baked Chick-Pea Burgers

Makes 26 burgers - 1/3 cup burgers- freezes well
 
1 lb bag dry Chic Peas (and/or) different dry beans, black beans work well too)
Sort and wash well
Soak in cool water in refrigerator for 3 days
changing water 2-3 times each day
 
Blend up raw beans in blender using
3 cup water, blend in small batches
 
Pour into Large Bowl
 
1 large Onion chopped
4 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast Flakes
3 tablespoons Celtic Sea Salt
4 Tablespoons Parsley Flakes
1/.2 teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 teaspoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Celery Powder
2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
3 cups Organic Rolled Oats
1.4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
3/4 cup Water
 
Mixture needs to be soupy
Stir well to allow flavors to blend and oats to soften
Let set for 30 minutes
 
Preheat oven to 325 degreees Fahrenheit
Use Parchment paper on baking pans
use a 1/3 cup measure to scoop and plop
onto your pans. Smoothing and shaping slightly
 
Continue to stir mixture to distribute liquid
 
Bake for 45 minutes then flip burgers and bake
another 30 minutes more.
 
Freeze, or heat, eat and ENJOY!
